Join Sacred Mountain Guiding on a guided hike to Sgùrr na Strì (‘the Peak of Strife’). Whilst this mighty little peak might only be 494m in height, it certainly proves that when it comes to mountains, size really does not matter! Reaching the peak requires a long and rugged walk down the beautiful Glen Sligachan where we will be surrounded by the Cuillin and peaks such as Marsco, but the rewards are nothing short of immense! It is even said that the views from the summit over Loch Coruisk and the sea are the finest views in all of Britain! This walk is 14.5 miles in total with an ascent of 645m.

Waterproof jacket & trousers

🚅Getting there

Isle of Skye is accessible by public transport.

The exact meeting point will be provided with your booking confirmation.

There is plenty of accommodation in the area including Sligachan Campsite, Broadford Campsite and plenty of B&B and AirBNB options too! Although, be sure to book any accommodation well in advance as the island gets booked up very quickly over the summer!

 We will meet in at 8:00am and hope to be back at our meeting point by 5pm, however, this is an estimate.
