Join Sacred Mountain Guiding on a guided hike to the summit of the mighty Blà Bheinn (Blaven) which translates to 'Blue Mountain' 

Blà Bheinn is a great hulk of a mountain on the majestic Isle of Skye which sits isolated from the Cuillin Ridge. This hike is 5 miles long with an ascent of 990m, the ascent itself follows a good mountain path initially but later becomes rough with steep, loose scree and some mild scambling. Suitable to those with prior hillwalking experience.  There are some stunning swimming pools if you wish to take a dip on the return! :)

Waterproof jacket & trousers

Backpack with waterproof liner or cover

Hiking trousers

Insulated jacket either down or synthetic

Packed lunch, snacks and plenty of water for the day

🚅Getting there

Isle of Skye is accessible by public transport.

The exact meeting point will be provided with your booking confirmation.

There is plenty of accommodation in the area including Sligachan Campsite, Broadford Campsite and plenty of B&B and AirBNB options too! Although, be sure to book any accommodation well in advance as the island gets booked up very quickly over the summer!

✨Important Information

 We will meet in at 9:00am and hope to be back at our meeting point by 5pm, however, this is an estimate.

This is tough mountain day with steep, rocky and complex terrain. There is some mild scrambling and also some very steep and loose scree to negotiate.
